New Orleans Design Competition
Hurricane Katrina’s devastating blow to New Orleans and the Gulf Coast has resulted in an unprecedented level of planning and design thinking for a more sustainable future. Our proposals for two design competitions considered local and regional resources that could be tapped for low-income communities. The rich vernacular architecture of New Orleans provided inspiration for our building designs.
